Parts of a Mini-Split System

Mini-splits are comprised of just three parts:

  1. The condenser/compressor is located outside the house. This is where the power is generated.

  3. The air-handling unit into which the conduit runs. The unit can be recessed in a ceiling, wall-mounted, or free-standing on the floor.
